Our next General Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 6PM at the Plumbers Hall in Ronkonkoma (2123 5th Ave). At this meeting there will be nominations for Treasurer, 1st Vice President, and all Delegate Positions. Each of these positions hold a three year term.
We will also have our annual raffle drawing to support our scholarship fund. Anyone wishing to purchase raffle tickets @ $5.00 each please contact your Delegate or call the Union Office. First prize is $1000, Second prize is $500, and Third prize is $250. You have to be in it to win it.
It is also Scholarship time again. As a result of our very successful Dinner Dance last November and money raised from selling raffle tickets, we are happy to announce that at this General Membership Meeting we will be awarding ten $1000 scholarships. Any one wishing to apply for a scholarship for your child or grandchild can find an application at SCCEA.org. Please note that scholarship checks will be made payable to the college listed on the application.
This is your union. It is your opportunity to be informed. Come to the meeting, participate in the nomination process, and buy raffle tickets to support the Scholarship Fund.
