As you have all heard by now, the Office of Court Administration has decided to defer our 2% salary increase which was effective on April 1. This deferral does not apply to longevity bonuses, increments, or SLED money. Those payments will appear in the April 29 paycheck. I am attaching the memo from OCA for you to read. You will note that OCA does not indicate how long the deferral is for. It also says that "if economic conditions allow, the increases will be restored retroactively". We are not happy about the decision OCA has made today. Actions speak louder than words and OCA's decision today speaks very loudly to each of us. What is it saying to you?
