The current collective bargaining agreement for 2016-2019 is expiring on March 31, 2019. On that day our geographic pay will increase from $4100 to $4200. Beginning April 1, the collective bargaining agreement covering 2019-2021 will take affect.
As of April 1, 2019 salaries will increase by 2% or $1000, whichever is greater, and will appear in paychecks on May 1, 2019. Longevity Bonuses will increase to $2050 for 20 years of service, $2150 for 25 years of service, and $2250 for 30 years of service. The Longevity Bonus payment will also appear in the May 1st paycheck. Court officers will be receiving a $500 Security and Law Enforcement Differential (SLED) in the May 1st paycheck as well. In order to be eligible to receive a SLED payment on May 1, 2019 , the Court Officer must:
a. be in a Security Series title on April 1, 2019
b. have served 120 workdays in a Security Series title between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019
c. have been authorized to carry a firearm on duty between January 1 2018 and March 31, 2019
